If tooling is supplied by the customer, PCI can usually provide samples within one to
two weeks.
Tooling Production
PCI subcontracts all tooling production to outside sources. When tooling is
required, we will obtain quotes from several toolmakers and submit the bid we recommend
with our casting quote.
Tooling is usually furnished to us within four to eight weeks, depending on the
complexity of the tool. Sample castings will be provided within one to two weeks
after PCI's receipt, inspection, and approval of tooling.
